With September being National FALLS Month, let’s dig into how falls affect us!
I’ve experienced more than a dozen falls in the 10 years post-stroke.
How about you?!
In most cases, I succeeded in not breaking any bones, or injuring myself in any other way! In 4 different falls, I broke 3 bones: (foot, collarbone, and 2 ribs); and, one where I split my head open and received stitches in the ER!
They can certainly be painful - to your body and your mind!
