Tom Broussard is a three-time stroke survivor and now a stroke educator. He acquired aphasia from his first stroke in 2011 and lost his language. He was an associate dean at a college outside of Boston until he had his stroke and could not read, write or speak well. He did get better and came to understand HOW he got better. He now speaks around the country talking about stroke, aphasia recovery and plasticity, the foundation of all learning.
