Thank you for subscribing to my blog.

CONGRATULATIONS on taking another healthy step towards your full recovery!

All interested parties are welcome!

Please join us, whether you are a:

As I said in my Welcome Video, we are all in this together, and everyone is affected by this massive debilitating event – the survivor and her/ his love ones.

Our strokes severely affected our physical bodies, our brains, and our emotions.

It takes a village to cope and recover!

Our lives, and the lives of our loved ones were transformed overnight. Yet, this transformation was not of our choosing, was it? But it’s up to us to maneuver our way through this, while endeavoring to maintain a happy, healthy, active life during our recovery.

Remember, we can do this – together!

I would like to share with you a few of the topics you will receive by subscribing to my weekly blog:

  • Your First Few Days, Post-Stroke

  • The Emotional Toll

  • Grief: New Me vs Old Me – How to Manage

  • Neuroplasticity: What happened to my formerly alert brain?!

  • Neuro-Trained Healthcare Practitioners in the Phoenix, AZ area

  • Alternative Methods of Recovery

  • Your Choice: Victim or Victor?

  • Helpful & Essential Recovery Devices

  • Everyday Challenges

  • Physical & Occupational Therapy

  • Journaling

  • Money Issues & Inadequate Insurance Coverage

When you have a few minutes and the energy, please read the About page as it explains the way I plan to go about imparting this information to you to make it as interesting as possible, yet not tax your brain (or mine) too much!

Again, many thanks for subscribing to my blog!

My intention is to help educate and help heal as many people during the healing process as I can, as well as help heal myself!

Remember, you are not alone!
